We had spotted the Elmwood Cemetery as a great location for a video, so when this song was completed, we knew where to go. 

We were given a touching song to work with and we found an inspiring location.  With minimal planning and a general idea of the mood we wanted to convey, we improvised on the spot and then edited the footage into a story.  

Combining live action with animation, this video captures Halifax artist JONT's exuberant energy and optimism in a unique psychedelic manner.

An amazing Halloween collaboration with singer-songwriter John Jerome.​  John approached DDS&V with an idea for a spooky movie based on his own spooky song.​

A client living in Toronto hired us to conceptualize a music video for his new single.  We had him film himself in front of a white wall in his home and we worked with the footage he sent us.  We discussed his vision and aesthetic preferences and worked from there.   

We got wind of a house being torn down downtown and we thought "how can we use this opportunity for a video?" So we rushed to the location, hoping we would be there at the perfect time, and we were!  

Done in a simple traditional animation style this video is absolutely insane.  It won Best Acadian Short in 2017 at the FICFA film festival.​
